Celebrity Fight Night 26 on April 4th, 2020!

Celebrity Fight Night worked with our guest of honor, Muhammad Ali, for 22 years to raise money for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. The Champ attended every event with much enthusiasm! Celebrities and professional athletes from all over the country participate in a night filled with incredible live auction items and live musical performances by many of today’s brightest stars. This power-packed night of excitement not only leaves our audience with unforgettable memories each year but, more importantly, provides significant dollars for charities. Celebrity Fight Night benefits the Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program at Barrow Neurological Institute, in addition to other charities.

The audience responded with heart-felt thoughts of how dementia has personally affected their lives, and offered generous financial support for the Alzheimer’s program.

    ALZHEIMER’S AND MEMORY DISORDERS PROGRAM

The Barrow Neurological Institute is the world’s largest neurological disease treatment and research institution; and this year we are proud to support the BNI’s Alzheimer’s and Memory Disorders Program that works closely alongside the Parkinson Center in the same offices. Unfortunately 1 out of 20 people at the age of 65 will have Alzheimer’s; and sadly 1 out of 3 when they reach the age of 85.  Clearly with people living longer, the incidence of Alzheimer’s is increasing.  Though there is no cure, it is possible to slow the progression and ease the burden of the disease. Furthermore, the program is actively involved in researching and testing promising new treatments; and is committed to providing continuing care and counseling to Alzheimer’s patients.

    CELEBRITY FIGHT NIGHT FOUNDATION

Celebrity Fight Night Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established to promote ongoing efforts to eliminate sickness and poverty.  The Foundation continues to support the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix; and contributes to treatment and research aimed at finding a cure for catastrophic diseases and provides funding to non-profit organizations that create opportunities for youth and their families who live in our threatening and vulnerable neighborhoods.
